The Lady Marine Rose Chapter proudly celebrated our 77th Anniversary Luncheon in celebration of our nations Women’s Marine Reserve Annual Birthday. We were honored to have 1st Vice President Angela Maness as our guest speaker. This year’s Anniversary Luncheon celebration was particularly special. Those of us that were present witnessed a tremendous show of community support evident in every smile, embrace and handshake.The Lady Marine Rose Chapter is a beacon of hope for our past and present generations of women that have served not only their country but their community. We have bridged our generational gap with the most import common denominator; we are all Marines it’s in our DNA. Our friends and family members represented at our banquet hailed a diverse representation of the organizations within our community that value the Women Marines Association and the added value that we contribute in our communities. The secret to our success is simple… “EVERYONE” is welcome regardless of age, beliefs or race.I would like to mention our guest that broke bread at our table and shared our traditional birthday cake, bearing witness to the passing our traditions from one generation to the next.
